The gate serves to express one of the many identities of the FRUC, an Arts Center whose letters stand for Forcément (inevitably) Révolutionnaire (revolutionary) Utopique (utopian) and Créatif (creative).
The letters F.R.U.C. are represented by seven fish, which form the letters F, R, and U, and a cat, which forms the letter C.
The plants and water form shapes reminiscent of Art Nouveau. Softness, presence, serenity, and sensuality.
